We are proud to announce Helen and Frank Wewers as the Honorary Chairs of our 2017 “Arts on Fire” event!  

About Helen and Frank: 

After teaching public school for over 30 years, Helen retired and became a community volunteer.  The depth and breadth of organizations Helen supports mirror her passions:  education, the arts, medical support services, human rights, and women's rights.  Serving by example, Helen encourages us to embrace social issues and be positive influences in the community. 

Frank is a former member of the Advisory Council to the Bloch School and has recently joined the board of the Kansas City Art Institute. He is the founder and former president of Manning Systems and the principal consultant at Fli-Tek Consulting LLC.  Frank has strong interest in environmental and alternate energy issues. He is also philanthropically active in education projects in the Kansas City area.
