Gender Queer Panel Discussion

  • InterUrban ArtHouse 8001 Newton Street Overland Park, Kansas 66204 (map)

Saturday, March 8, 3-5 pm

Join Nettie Zan and genderqueer panelists for this informal panel of non-binary and gender non-conforming folks who are present and ready to answer your questions about their identities. This is a free event.

We recognize that there are a lot of folks who are curious about genderqueer lives, but who also don't want to cause inadvertent harm by asking a bunch of questions. These panelists are coming together this afternoon to be of support and service to you! We are inviting you to ask all the questions you have.

We are here for the parents, families, friends, neighbors and co-workers of folks who want to understand more and be respectful and loving to their families, friends and peers.

This panel is in affiliation with the Enby Zine Distro (EZD), an educational outreach program for connecting genderqueer folks to the broader community. EZD is the "Centerpiece" on display for the HER ART/THEIR ART show.

This project was selected for funding by InterUrban ArtHouse through their 2024/25 National Endowment for the Art Grants for Arts award.

Your host and centerpiece designer is Nettie Zan, a trans non-binary human painting and writing in studio at InterUrban ArtHouse as the 2025 "Collectivist Resident." You can learn more about them at nettiezan.com or @listenmore
