Beginning at 6 pm, we welcome you to grab a drink and view the Tangled Roots Exhibition. Tangled Roots is a multicultural artist collaboration. An organic and ever expanding cultural celebration of diversity and inclusion, the exhibit creates space for mutual appreciation and awareness of our individual and collective contributions to the human experience. Tangled Roots is an intersection of art, culture, identity, activism, social justice and community.

At 7 pm, We Found Us Performance: Natasha Ria El-Scari and Kevin Church Johnson share their passionate, roller coaster of truth and friendship turned to love. Each picks up their artistic gifts and combines them for this perfomance.

Kevin Church Johnson, the recipient of the ARTSKC 2022 Inspiration Grant is versatile. Depending on where you've seen him play you've experienced his pocket Jazz, Soul, Gospel, R&B love songs, Hip Hop hooks and production expressed in an effortless baritone tenor with massive range. But here, you'll see a side of him you haven't experienced.

Natasha Ria El-Scari joins Church on "We Found Us" as the sole poet, sharing spoken word she created during their friendship in 2014 (Ride Away) and currently reshaping and challenging what feminism is when it meets true love.
