Buzzworthy Social that Brings Crowds: Create an Engaging Social Media Plan to Promote Your Events (Via Zoom)

Events are a whirlwind of activity between the preparation and promotion that can leave creatives burned out. This workshop will help you use social media and other channels to encourage attendance without spending hours on your posts. We'll build a marketing plan that's more than sales promotion—it's an open invitation to a raveworthy event that leads to foot traffic and sales.

Leave with a calendar that takes the guesswork out of building anticipation so you can create compelling and timely content that centers connection and brings more people to your booth and events.

Facilitator: Max Sheffield (they/them) is the Founder and CEO of Max Wilde Stories. They tell the stories of
businesses and community organizations through evocative content strategy and a compelling
brand narrative. Max’s writing centers on connection because our marketing has the power to
make people feel seen, not sold to. Since 2018, Max has collaborated with various community
organizations, including InnovateHER KC, Square One for Small Business, Newhouse KC,
Startland Education, KC SourceLink, and the Kansas City Beacon. In Max’s free time, they’re
tapping into their inner teenager and relearning to roller skate.
